Naturally Boho Styled Shoot with Custom Copper Ivory Wedding Shoes

Autumn and winter weddings are becoming ever more popular, especially if you’re planning a more rustic big day. And why not? Because at this time of year, you have nature on your side.

Nature will make the landscape glitter with frost and add warm russet tones in a sea of fallen leaves and maze of woodland tree trunks. The contrast of warm reds and barely there hints of green lends itself perfectly to a burgundy and blush bohemian colour scheme.

That’s exactly what we set out to create when I joined Daniel Thomas Photography for a styled shoot at stunning Patrick’s Barn. But at this cooler time of year, cosiness is an important factor too. That’s why we created a pair of ivory wedding shoes with accents of rust. Keep your toes toasty inside while also embracing your laid-back, bohemian style.

Blushing whimsy

Bursts of burgundy and touches of pink mingled with silvery foliage created a painterly effect for the blooms. Trailing silk ribbons complemented the theme, while also drawing the eye downwards to where our wedding Converse styled with rusted tones peeped out from beneath the bride’s boho lace dress.

The secret to the most successful wedding styling is to pare back your colours to a select few. Then take those tones and run with them, featuring them throughout your celebrations. The tall taper candles echo the burgundies and blues of the bouquet, while the softer pinks also star on the dessert table.

Our style inspiration for the ivory wedding shoes came from the natural textures around us. Think golden leaves, chunky wooden tables and exposed brick walls.

Marry these decadent colours together and you create a look that is irresistibly bohemian, intensely romantic and yet delicate at the same time.

Lend a bespoke look to your bohemian aisle style with ivory wedding shoes. Our custom wedding Converse needn’t always have an urban or rock chic vibe. Just take a look at the dreamy pair of pumps we created for this styled shoot.

Featuring sumptuous shades of rust, we gave the heels and toes just a glint of glamour in irresistible coppery tones. We also added flowing ‘Bride’ lettering to the side (you’re a bride for just one day, so enjoy it!). Hand-made, beautifully finished rust ribbon laces without a raw or fraying edge in sight finished the shoes with a flourish.

Seen in the glow of festoon or candlelight, the romance of this look just ramps up and up. Imagine posing for a photo as you cut your cake or twirling during your first dance. The lower light levels and flash of the camera, combined with the dreamy detail of these ivory wedding shoes, is as romantic as can be in a low-key luxe, beautifully bohemian way.

Opt for a pair of bespoke wedding Converse and you can colour your day, your way, down to the most elegant details to create one breath-taking bohemian effect. With comfy, cosy feet, you’ll be dressed to impress and dance through your autumn or winter wedding on cloud nine. Start styling your pair of bespoke wedding shoes today.
