Rewriting the rules of a traditional bride, Jess rocked a pair of comfortable wedding sneakers to give her free roam.

A hand-picked pair of Converse in a timeless ivory colourway, Jess customised her kicks with her married name, wedding date and super stylish rust-toned laces and Swarovski crystal embellishments – the perfect additions to add an urban edge to her look. Teamed with a leather jacket and a statement protea for her bouquet too, Jess embodied modern and free-spirited bridal style.
Intimacy in the city
Treading their own path through New York, the couple made their vows beside the water. A bridge framed the moment, while a congregation of high rise buildings watched on as stately, silent guests.
A beautiful juxtaposition to the public surrounds, the ceremony was intimate and personal. The perfect opportunity to carve out their own chapter within a vast and iconic space. And with the bride opting for customised comfortable wedding shoes, their celebrations knew no bounds. Perhaps only the city limits themselves.
Romance races on
Hot on the heels of their heartfelt ceremony came couple’s photos in New York that can only be classed as epic. Think kissing on Broadway, beside the Subway and even arty images in front of gorgeously restored warehouse style apartments that the city is so famous for.
Exploring is easy with comfortable wedding shoes cocooning your feet, and every moment on the move presented another imaginative photo opportunity. Then, as the light began to fade, the couple came together again, this time in Times Square. Illuminated by a blaze of coloured lights, the newlyweds radiated smiles as they embraced.
